Qualifications for this title:
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Two semesters as a Junior Assistant Instructor
- Age: 15 years old or older
- Rank: Brown belt or higher
- Character: Upholding all Junior Assistant qualifications – positive attitude, respect, and responsibility
- Leadership: Taking control of classes of all ages and ranks, keeping students engaged, and demonstrating exceptional maturity
Additional Responsibilities:
- Administration: Mastering accurate student check-in and handling class finances
- Support: Assisting any student in need, ensuring a fair and inclusive learning environment
Trusted Leadership:
We entrust Assistant Instructors with running classes independently. This requires your complete dedication to:
- Safety and Control: Confidently handling classes of any size and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Engagement: Keeping all students motivated and actively participating.
- Professionalism: Earning our complete trust to lead confidently and fairly, without the need for direct supervision.
For students demonstrating exceptional progress, exceptions to age or rank requirements may be considered at the discretion of a Master Instructor.
